First things first, Ha ha ha ha in the face of the ‘dippers. They really, really need to rethink their gameplan. Benitez was hoping for a 1:0 before halftime so that he could sit out the second half in the trenches. Sadly, he underestimated the United backline and overestimated his own ageing one.

There are very few flaws that one can find in a masterpiece. When you do, indeed, you tend to wonder if those rare gaps were accidental after all- or if they were part of the contrivance of the great mind behind the rest of the glory. Fergie’s third ‘reich’, to me is posing just such a quandary. I really don’t know whether what I’m saying here was overlooked by him, or if he’s got a twinkle in his eye and a smirk on the inside of that wrinkled gum-chewing countenance. Either way, it is pretty loud a gap as I see it.

I’m posting again after a long time. I’ve noticed how most of the posts for some time now have been battling transfer rumours spread by obnoxious tabloids. This isn’t going to be one of those.
This is about a sadness that wells up every time I think about two players that have left United via the ‘back door’. These two, together, have proven to the world what they can do when playing together. No points for guessing. Its Ruud and Becks. The first was the result of a really bad case of the club trying to offload a jaded star and for a decent price while they still could. The second, well, is a truly sad story.

There are times when I wish I could literally throw a boot in Mr. Mourinho’s face if it would wipe the smirk off his face. Ah… the joy, the great serene satisfaction…I can almost taste it.
It has been more than a week since our narrow loss at the Wembley. Too bad, I’d have said, with a shrug and a sigh on any other day, but after brooding over that final for a week, I still can’t digest it.
