I agree that Barca are setup for possession football and will generally dominate in that respect. However that doesn't excuse our pathetic attempt at passing. In 90 minutes we were only able to retain the ball for a worhtwhile length of time on a handful of occassions. It's one thing to say our passing wasn't up to scratch last night, but I think Andy took it a bit too far. I fully expected Barcelona to dominate possession with Scholes and Carrick playing, they may both have had good games defensively, but we all know that Anderson or Hargreaves would have broken up their possession a lot better. Barcelona are the kings of possession football at home and, up until this season, kept around 60% possession in away games to. It is what their team is built for.
