Carlos Tevez continues to spout venom
It seems some people find it hard to move on. We all acknowledge that sometimes, in a relationship, both parties might have been at fault and, like adults, we say what we have to say, and move on.
The relationship between clubs and players, players and managers and players and fans is not that different in essence. [Of course, if a player spites his fans, then the gloves are usually off, and we see even mild-mannered, cultured adults turn juvenile -- but I digress.]
Carlos Tevez, falls in the second category. And, by recent evidence, has shown little signs of growing up.
According to today’s report in the MirrorTevez accuses Fergie of lying to him about his squad status after signing Berbatov.
“Ferguson still believes I will be at United next season. He thinks I will return. But I know what I want and I know that Ferguson did not respect me as a player. Before Berbatov arrived in Manchester, Ferguson told me, ‘You will still be the starting striker, so be cool’. But he lied to me! That is why I know I will not return to United.
For one, football has become a squad game. Much of United’s success over the course of the past three years has been built around having good squad depth and players understanding that rotation is a part of life at United. Rotating players kept us in the hunt for a good part of the season. And for a manager, the toughest job is to ensure a reasonable mix of players for the right game. Tevez’s appearances over the course of the season is proof that he has got more playing time than some others in the side. He was mis-treated by the club management, of that there is little doubt. The United management weren’t forthright enough to work out his contract details, and we all know that. But today he still feels he has to whine some more to the press:
“What I want to do next season is score against United. I promise I will not celebrate in front of the United fans but I will shout in Ferguson’s face. You can be sure of that – and it will be one of the most beautiful things I have done in football.”
Well, Charlie. We wish you good luck on that. And you don’t have to bother trying to show respect to us fans. We aren’t really on your side anymore. And, just so you don’t wear a bewildered look when you visit OT, expect some booing from the stands.

Update: Also, in case you haven’t heard, Wayne Rooney had a minor accident when he bumped his head. Doctors thought he may have had a concussion. But it was reported to be nothing serious. Today Rooney updated his twitter status, and like we jobless folks track stuff like this, here’s what he says on his head and Owen:
Thanks for all the messages my heads fine it wont stop me starting preseason il be there on Monday looking forward to meeting up with Michael Gosh that was a shock but hes a proven goal scorer but maybe just not been at the right club thats no offence to Newcastle. The Gaffer knows what hes doing always has I think this could be a Great season again for Utd Cant wait , Hols nearly finished! Bye 4 now.
So with those golden words from the Roon, we can sleep today in peace.

I’m also sick of Tevez but it appeared only in the Mirror and they are not exactly famous of their credibility. I give him the benefit of the doubt on this front, I don’t believe he said these things. His earlier whines were genuine though.

You know he should celebrate in front of us…so we can throw some crap his way. It’s is funny to think that he still thinks the fans are behind him. Fergie > Charles. Naturally though, he’ll never score against us anyway if Rio and Vida have anything to say about it.

Common Carlos this is bit too much.why u complaining you got the whole second half in that final what have you done. I didnt see any run from you to the goal box.You know what hapend in 1999 Teddy and Ole in last 10 mnts that called the legends. So to score a goal u dont need full 90 mnts you just need a flash of brilliance to score. The whole season you played more minutes than Rooney and berbatov. so Dont complaint Fergie ddint look after you. The man fought a lot to brought you in to the team and you also played very well in the first season, but second season you scored the important goals but fewer goal ratio. So dont complain about Fergie and make this stuppid things he is liar and goal on his face thats not suits you Carlos. No one is bigger than the club remember that in your mind. You only going to Bloody City because of Money nothing else because you and Ur bloody owner that Jorabchian are greedy for money. United offer you the five year deal worth 25.5 million ask rate. But you rejected, and Jurabchian claime you people didnt gave enough time to think. So stop those bulshits and crocodile tears. You are not welcome any more carlos.

@Zae: The Mirror are more credible than the other shit tabloids mate. Tevez ia a bitter little shit, who DIDN’T want to leave, he was stringing United along to see just how much more his team could screw out of us, but he came unstuck. Man Utd wouldn’t play the game, and cut him off, which really shocked him. He thought he had time to play around, but he didn’t. Also, what the fuck is he going on about, that SAF still thinks he is coming back? Where does that kind of delusional thinking come from? United cut off all negotiations after giving him a deadline, so where has the SAF still thinks he is coming back come from????

Is this for real? Previous rant from him and i start to hate him. He thought he had the fans support after 2 years at the club. Fergie spend 23 years at the club and you think fans who the fans will support? Just because you did a lot of running and never give up spirit for 2 years, people can’t forget you? The club succeed for so long not because of you dude. It’s ferguson. Get it to your head. I mean whatever or how bad the manager is, you can’t complain to the media, once you did then off you go. Fergie agree the 25.5m asking price is because he knew you will reject. Anyway for the Rooney twitter, is it his one? It seems to me that it’s not a real one.

oh dear listen to u lot,u make me sick, u was begging for tevez to stay after he scored many match winners.but now u know theres not chance of him being with utd anymore so ul slag him off.we have bigger issues to worry about at the moment.ronaldo is swapped for valencia.and owen for tevez, umm why is berbatov still in a red shirt.he is actually the worst striker in the prem, say what the fuk u want but this is the end of the winning ways for us…jus think we have a liverpool reject and liverpool must be pissing there selfs laughing and the thought of it makes me sick
liverpool can sit there now and say they have a more formiddable squad than us and there not wrong.

Tevez really has to shut the fuck up. I mean how does he expect any true United fan or anyone with enough sense to back him up now? I for one will booo.
So what if he had to fight for his place, wasn’t it Ferguson that gave him the opportunity to play at the top level in the first place?
He might not want to disrespect the United fans but he does when he comes out with this crap. Alex is Manchester United and it’s really not his fault that tevez hasnt matured in his football or the way he conducts himself. It’s actually got beyond embarrasing for him and seeing as he hasn’t yet signed for Man City, I think his behaviour is limiting his options.
Does Mark Hughes even want this extra bullshit? really? I highly doubt it and you may just see Tevez having to go abroad to find a team now

it is funny the scousers laugh at uniteds dept and how they will win the league their signings are not pulling up trumpts. and their owners are not actually swimming in cash and thier dept is just as bad.
rldnccc just respond because how is owen a replacement he cost nothing even though I will still say his style of play where he is useless on the ball will make united suffer. owen is like playing with 10 men because his overall game is nothing short of abysmel. his only 2 talents has gone which was scoring goals and what made that talent work was his pace. owen’s other problem is he is not a total footballer so his type of playing style can decline faster than others. we saw how chelsea declined when they went for second rate players, but my worry is owen berbatov upfront if rooney is injured worrys me greatly. another problem is non of our attacking players has a physical threat. valencia nani giggs park tosic rooney berbatov owen welbeck macheda where is the height and strength because I see non of it.

Stephen lets get one thing straight I am not one of these fans who thinks we should have got ribery benzama aguero etc etc they dnt want to come here and its about time some the most expensive names we have bought like berbatov nani anderson start playing like world class players, what has been one of uniteds biggest srengths is finding players non of us know well and they turn out to be world class stars vidic and evra to prime examples. we have never been a club to atract the world established stars look at the 1999 squad where in that group of players was there a world name that set the pulses racing we found good players made them better or half of them came through the academy. even ronaldo he only came here has a player with potiental he was a talent almost a rookie not a world class player.

I’d be careful. Journalists often misquote players. I find it hard to believe Carlos would say those things. For a start his English is terrible and Fergie would have never said “Be Cool”.
Considering the quotes are taken from the Daily Mirror Id take them with a pinch of salt.
I find this venom aimed at Carlos disrespectful. If he really is saying these things why are we stooping to his level? Can’t we be the more mature party in the relationship?
Tevez gave us two years at the club. While you can argue that he was not good enough there is no faulting his commitment to the club and he gave us everything when he was on the pitch.
I really think it is most distasteful to make fun of Tevez. Say what you like about him he scored some very important goals for the club and while his last season did not work out, in his first season at the club he seamlessly fitted into the club and helped us win the Premier League and the Champions League at a time when he was the main striker.
Fact is Tevez last season was better than Berbatov this season.

@steve: Veron was a very gracious and humble person Steve, and I wont hear a word said against him. He was very disappointed not to have succeeded in his time at United, and he loved our club. He was the first of his kind to come to us, at a time when we had difficulty in getting the star type players, and it was a shame that we were playing a style of football he was entirely unused to. Veron had CLASS soething the Heinze’s and Tevez’s of this world are totally devoid of

@colver: Colver, I am getting a bit sick of the we must not disrespect Tevez brigade. The likelihood is did say those things, as he has been moaning and whining to the press ever since he supposedly left the club. Truth is he chose to leave, but HE IS STILL HERE IN HIW OWN FUCKING HEAD. He thought he was God, and UNited would be crying after him, he thought wrong. Respect him my arse!

Craig I said veron was the latter meaning he went out with gracious dignaty. he was willing to come to the club and give it a go thinking united were the biggest. not looking to move on he was looking at long term plans at the club, I think if it was not for keanes total control freak of the dressing room not giving up his spot when he had this mentaliy that everyone was not good enough and only he was and I thought he was always looking at the past, and wanted 99 type performences. the real madrid game in 2003 especially at old trafford should have been a hint keanes time had come.

@Dan: Ive come to that conclusion too. Besides, it would have died much sooner if Benzema signed.
As for Tevez, whatever respect I had for you is gone. If you think you can shout in the face of our manager without us having a say, you are miserably mistaken. You will be eating your words soon classless prick.
