Moreover talk of selling Carrick is absolute nonsense. People are a little rusty after coming back from injury. Can't we give him time, I'm sure we can. By time I mean playing time, 30 minutes off the bench, and he'll soon be sending those defense splitting passes. Anderson is top class(as of now) but in the course of his career everyone will have a bad patch. Sell him during a bad patch, NO WAY!! Wait and watch's all I can say to the Carrick-bashers. If we have a good Champion's legue run, he'll be our all important man(if fit). Don't believe me? well, you should. As far as Defoe rumours are concerned, I think he's ok. He comes with amazing wealth of experience (on the bench), so that shouldn't be a problem(OT benches seem far more comfortable). But seriously we need a striker who'll hold the ball and will be the target man. Signing Larrson was a mastersroke last season. I hope they do something similar in January this time around.
