Deadline Day Looms…
We lost the Super Cup to Zenit. Chelsea proved they are still shit by dropping points. Liverpool drew to Villa, sussing out early season optimism and, more importantly, both Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are extremely doubtful for our Anfield visit.
We have no news on Berbatov, yet. Either way we’ll get to know it today. Hopefully let the good times roll as we get into a two week period of boredom — also called the international break.
Meanwhile, I apologise for not writing up my thoughts on the Super Cup. Or generally not updating this for the last couple of days. Kudos to the folks to keep commenting despite my negligence — trust me this is only temporary. It turns out that I do have a life outside of writing about United, which is what caused me to be off the blog during the weekend.
So, in the words of Arnie, I’ll be back. Hopefully, by then, Berbatov will be wearing the red of United.

cheers red ranter.
i’m glad this 2 week break is in the midst of Ronaldo and Hargreave’s recovery process. it would suck if they got back AND THEN there was a two week break.
silver linings, gotta love ‘em
September 1st, 2008 at 10:12
cheers mate, the countdown to berbatov will end today!
the verdict will be shown, nonetheless, i don’t think giving up campbell for berbie is fair enuff. we should sign berba and still keep our players. IMO if berbie remains at the lane, i think fergie has high hopes and expectations from manucho…
September 1st, 2008 at 10:23
Either that or Fergie screwed up the transfer!!!
HOnestly why the HELL are we paying as much for berbie as liverscum paid for el nino??NONSENSE I SAY!!
fuck berbie id rather see so many other strikers at OT like ronaldinho eto o huntelar trezeguet benzema and even arshavin for that matter that guy is quality…podolski is actually amazing anyone agrees he would be fucking amazing for united?
September 1st, 2008 at 10:25
it is said @http://www.espnstar.com/football/news/detail/item110836/Man-United-hunting-Huntelaar/
even if we get the berbie, fergie will also get the huntie…
hope that’s true
September 1st, 2008 at 10:30
the super cup was a nothing trophy so who cares we lost. good to see chelsea dropping points and fat frank being totally useless. and happy days stevie g and torres are gonna be out for the match….we should def be coming away with a point if not all 3.
cant wait for today to be over so we get on with season without berbacrap. im guessing it will be all quiet on the old trafford front today. i dont think we should get rid of frazier campbell, but Hull are offering 7 mil! thats pretty good is it not?
September 1st, 2008 at 10:31
It least it will all be over one way or the other today, thank God!
We should loan out Campbell to see how he gets on in the Prem.
September 1st, 2008 at 10:33
Hunta and Berba will be a HUGE shock. cant see either of them coming but ya never know
September 1st, 2008 at 10:38
No chance it will be Berbatov or nothing.
September 1st, 2008 at 10:39
Why are we having problems scoring goals this season?
An over reliance on Ronaldo?
Rooney not as good at scoring goals as we once thought?
The central midfield’s poor goal return (bar fletcher?!)
September 1st, 2008 at 10:40
i doubt berba comes.
i’m hoping campbell shines this year
for united that is
September 1st, 2008 at 10:42
@stephen
yeah, either way, it’ll be over, and for that, i’ll be grateful
September 1st, 2008 at 10:49
I really hope for his own sake Berba moves somewhere today. Levy really would be a massive c*nt to not let him leave to go somewhere if the money is good.
See that the spuds have signed Corluka and Pavyluchenko…that’s some decent cash right there. Perhaps the Robbie Keane money but I thought that was already spent. Let’s hope Levy’s fax is in order, wouldn’t want to miss the midnight deadline.
September 1st, 2008 at 10:49
Thaksin has just sold Man City! hahahahaha!
Thaksin Shinawatra has sold Manchester City to the Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment. what a twat.

@Craig Mc: Some people may not have the end of season review, so I wil make it easier for people to remember. When Rooney was under heavy critique, I made a long post about every game he played and his biggest contributions in those games. Now it looks like Nani is also in the fireing line and I will stand up and protect him from this critiques. WARNING! Long post. Nanis contribution in 2007/08:
Reading- sub for Rooney at half time, shoots just wide from 25 yards.
Pompey- Crosses to Tevez on 28-yard box, Tevez 1 touch and pass to Scholes, Scholes scores.
City- Gets 1-on-1 with Schmeicel, saves shot. Problems with Richards, but makes some chances with good crosses.
Spurs- Scores his first goal for United with a thunderbolt from 25 yards. Matchwinner.
Sunderland- Passes free kick to Scholes on 25 yards, Scholes shoots just wide because of deflection. Corner assist to Saha, Saha matchwinner.
Everton- Corner assist to Vidic, Vidic matchminner.
Sporting- no major contribution, subbed off for Anderson.
Roma- Beats 2 man on left wing then crosses to Rooney who shoots just over the bar from 10 yards. Cross/shot hits the bar in 2nd half. Assist for Rooney who becomes matchwinner.
Villa- Cross that Rooney converts for 1-1, corner scored from Rio to 3-1.
Boro- Scores 1 goal witha thunderbolt from 25 yards, creates chance for Rooney and Ronaldo, neither manages to find the target with those chances.
Dynamo Kiev- 1 assist for Rooney goal, passes to Evra who passes to Ronaldo for 4-0.
Bolton- no impact, bad game.
Sporting- bad game, subbed off at half time.
Roma- 1 assist for Pique header from corner. Creates chances for Rooney and Saha, neither score.
Sunderland- Wins penalty for 4-0.
Birmingham- Hits post, crosses for Tevez who hits crossbar.
Newcastle- substitue, header down to Tevez who make sit 6-0.
Pompey- 1 assist for Ronaldo, passes to Tevez who shoots, James saves rebound form his dangerous shot, almost scores but James gets to the ball first.
Spurs- substitute, Corner assist to Tevez who scores in 94th minute.
City- No impact, bad game(like everyone else excpet for Andy)
Arsenal- 2 assists to Flecther, 1 goal, toys with the Arsenal defense, takes corner that untied make 1-0 from, makes Gallas look like a kindergarden kid, plays keepy-uppy with Traore, Wenger gets furious about his arrogance.
Lyon- substitute, cross for Tevez who equalises.
Newcastle- crosses to Tevez who heads wide, passes to Ronaldo who scores 3-0, crosses to Scholes good save by keeper, takes corner that Rooney scores from.
Fulham- showboats on the left wing, crosses for Scholes and Saha, neither score when 1-on-1.
Pompey- Horror game that United lose, Nani makes lots of chances, 1 for Tevez, 2 for Ronaldo and 1 for Carrick.
Bolton- Tests Al-Habsi reflexes with great free-kick, beat 1 man before he crosses to Saha who gets injured trying to scroe.
Liverpool- substitute, 1 assist from corner to Ronaldo, 1 goal after pass from Rooney.
Blackburn- returns from injury, corner to scholes who heads to Tevez who scores and makes it 1-1.
Chelski- bad game, bad decisionmaking.
Barcelona- Realy good game, heads just outside from Park cross, shoots over on counter attack, toys with Puyol.
West Ham- assist for 1-0 from Ronaldo, gets sent off.
Chelski, final- scores his penalty.
Hope this cleared so things up!
September 1st, 2008 at 11:00
If we do get him great superb, but if we don’t we are very short, up front. That could seriously cost us this season, but fingers crossed.

well i think we don’t have more time again, what i want is SAF should loan Campbell so that he can have more experience on th league and let have berba and see how far we goes from there,if we don’t have berba then we are short of strikers upfront and we have some important games that we could not afford to drop point and ronaldo out, rooney not too good at scoring….men we need a striker i just hope we get one by today…what about saha guys???where is he now?pls relply!
September 1st, 2008 at 11:23
The Times said this over the weekend:
David Moyes, the Everton manager, believes that Saha is well worth a gamble. “Louis is a good centre forward who has a bit of everything,” Moyes said. “He can run, head the ball and score goals and he hasn’t cost us any money.
Another example of our brilliant transfer dealings, sounds like we have just given him away, comforting!
September 1st, 2008 at 11:39
RedDevil, I’m not criticising Nani. I just agree with Liam that the club might be focussing on the wrong aspects of his abilities. We expect him to be ‘like Ronaldo’ when it’s evident that he is much better suited at developing ‘like Beckham’. He is currently - by far - the best crosser we have. I think SAF should focus on that. I see Nani as a combination of the old Beckham and the old Giggs (or rather a Giggs that can cross like Beckham). I think he has the potential to be great.
“Rooney - better than Ronaldo”
September 1st, 2008 at 11:41
well i really hope we do sign berbatov before midnight today(11 hrs to go in my side of the world). And if berba gets his move, he should do this to levy
September 1st, 2008 at 11:41
@Karl: I wasnt only reffering to you. Lots of people have critisised Nani, which I think is wrong cause 1. he is very young. 2. He was very important to our succes last year. And 3. He is no Cristiano Ronaldo yet!
“Ronaldo - better than any other fotballer in the world”
September 1st, 2008 at 11:42
@Nelson Otieno: HA-HA

September 1st, 2008 at 12:07
@Stephen: The thing with Saha is he is unlikely to command much of a fee due to his injury history. Who’s going to stump up £5m or so for Saha if he ends up spending most of the time in sick bay. By letting him go for free they get a high wage earner off the payroll and if we sign the Berb he’d be a long way down the pecking order if he stayed. That said I’m sad the way his United career pettered out, when fit he’s a dynamic centre forward with a lot of weapons and perfectly suited to United’s fluid formations. You can see why it’s a good deal for both Everton and United (assuming we get someone signed today).
September 1st, 2008 at 12:11
Dimi ain’t going no where and he sure ain’t going to OT …so everybody take a deep breath and pray that we survive this season!! Come on guys, this exact team won us the EPL and UEFA CL last season !! Relax and let it go will you. I can’t wait till this dreadful transfer saga ends, hopefully not so long now. It’s as if there’s a fucking force out there that wants to redirect all United fans attention from the glory of being champions, to being totally focused on the Berbatov transfer story. arrrgh !!
September 1st, 2008 at 12:11
@Uncle Roy: I can’t see why he cannot command any fee? Owen who’s contract expires next season, and with an equally poor injury record as Mr Glass, was touted over the weekend for £2m. I can’t see how giving away a proven goalscorer in the top flight is good business for us, as we still have not signed replacement.
September 1st, 2008 at 12:15
If Owen was really available for £2m I’d bite someones hand off. You want someone who really could be a Solsjkaer replacement - look no further. If we only used him in the last 20 mins of matches, hopefully he’d stay fit more and the boy knows where the goal is. Something we sorely miss.
Now that would be a nice surprise, IMO.
September 1st, 2008 at 12:28
Spurs have signed Corluka for £8.5m and Pavlyuchenko for £14m - these are the actions of a club who expect some significant funds to come their way by the end of the day.
So I remain optimistic on Berba. And pessimistic about a surprise extra, though I’d love that whoever it was…?!
September 1st, 2008 at 12:30
Hrm, so I almost came on here when I saw the City news and said I hope they don’t try and get into a big d*ck waving competition and hijack Berba with stupid money. But then I realised that would be completely ridiculous.
But now rumours say they are trying to do just that.
Look at it from Spurs perspective and it looks rather peachy: More money, not sell to United and spite United too. Eeep.
September 1st, 2008 at 12:36
@Beachryan: doubt berba can ever accept that…looking for more CL action and city nowhere close to it…
September 1st, 2008 at 12:39
Actually I am pretty sure Saha was sold for no initial fee but a fee based on appearances.
The main problem with Nani is judgement and mediocre passing ability-he gives the ball away a lot. That will improve. In the meantime the positive aspects of his game (he can beat a man and cross) will be brought out by a target man.
Around 12 hours to go and no Berbatov. God knows how im going to work as im checking the BBC feed every five minutes! It hurts to see all the other clubs pulling off these surprise deals
September 1st, 2008 at 12:48
No hunter… Link
September 1st, 2008 at 12:52
@Stephen: I think the fact that he won’t be pocketing a hefty wage at OT for the remainder of his contract is as good as a transfer fee for United. Given his injury record any deal to offload him needs to be incentivized for both Everton and Saha himself since he could easily sit out his contract at OT.
However, I agree with you that it could prove to be a bad mistake if Berbatov doesn’t sign.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:00
Owen would be an amazing snap up… but I hope for the sake of the club we keep hold of a talent like Frazier Campbell. It would be great to get Dimitar but if we let Frazier go I will have to wonder why on earth we are becoming a feeder club in terms of our youth system.
Berba may get offered a City switch but he wants Champions League football now. and at the very least he’d be waiting 4 years at City.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:00
@Uncle Roy: If we don’t get Berbatov it could cost us more than his hefty wage mate, we need Berbatov badly now.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:04
Stephen. I don’t agree. can someone please explain to me bar Ronaldos injury what is so different this season compared to last? surely other teams strengthening isnt getting you worried? we still have a great team with good work ethic and have shown with our goals thus far that we dont rely purely on Forwards to win us points with goals… they come in from everywhere. Once Carrick is back you will see a huge difference in our build up play.
also, would it be a good move to take Smith back on loan if no Dimitar deal gets done… or even if it is. We could get him back on track, I still miss him
September 1st, 2008 at 13:04
its really getting on my nerves when people say things like “we need berbatov badly now” HELLO, we have the same squad as last year more or less, and they didnt do to bad, shit man, you people are speaking like we are living in 2005…
September 1st, 2008 at 13:07
dan(u-ol)I couldnt agree more
September 1st, 2008 at 13:10
@dan(u-ol): @sig: We are struggling in front of goal at the moment, we can’t rely on Rooney and Carlito for goals. We have only 2 reconised strikers on our books and do you guys really think Ronaldo will score another 42 goals this season?
We won the ECL on pens and league on the last day of the season and yes I am worried about other teams strengthing and we have sold our only out and out striker, know one knows what to expect from Mancuho, so yes in my view we need Berbatov.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:20
we struggle in front of goal last year as well, in the beginning.
Rooney - better than Ronaldo
September 1st, 2008 at 13:23
Stephen. I understand your fears, but I think we proved last season that we dont play in the old school way of having a dedicated marksman, thats why I dissagree. I think Dimitar would be great in terms of holding the ball up in the last 3rd of the pitch but his other qualitys such as poaching goals are already posessed by other players…
NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST IN. Sky Sports News:
A bid has been tabled by Manchester City in excess of £30 Million for Dimitar Berbatov
September 1st, 2008 at 13:24
@Stephen: how many players get 42 goals a season, not many, ronaldo was lucky, to get that. Even if we get berbatov he would only be expected to score around 35 goals, not 42. what ronaldo dod last season is a once in a life time thing for players, and most players dont even do it.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:26
Ok we now have major problems. In excess of 30mill and with Spurs really not wanting to sell to us we are screwed.
And the options remaining are either untested having played in weak leagues (Huntelaar) or will cost us significantly more than £30mill
September 1st, 2008 at 13:28
City are beyond stupid, did you see Sky interviewing cit-eh fans wearing gaffa tape on what looked like sugar paper strapped to ther heads like head scarfs? They gave their full and undying support to shiwanatra and seem to have forgotten about him just as soon. If they get berbatov that would require Dimitar to accept non european football as well as giving up on his ‘dream’ of playing for united so despite this 30+ million muscle flexing by Englands richest new club i cant see it hapenning
September 1st, 2008 at 13:28
@sig: Who is a goal poacher for us bar Tevez? We need more than two reconised forwards @ the club. Manucho is completly unproven @ this level as his Welbeck and Campbell. Teams will also work our how to play us and sometimes we need another option, also if we get injuries to our forwards then we are very thin up there, surely its obvious?
I trust the players we have because they have done it, but teams around us have bought and we haven’t, you can’t say that because we did it last year then we will do it again this, we need to progress the club and Fergie has admitted we need a striker for over a year.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:28
@dan(u-ol): I just think mate we need another option up front.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:30
Tevej - better than Rooney…
Messi - better than Tevej…
Ronaldo - better than any other fotballer in the world…
hmmmm…
Rooney - atm certainly better than A. smith…
September 1st, 2008 at 13:33
@Stephen: no you didnt, you thought we where not going to score goals without ronaldo.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:37
FUCKING BERBATOV… BID… FROM FUCKING CITY!!! MUST KILL SOMEONE!!!
September 1st, 2008 at 13:41
@Little_dud: remove the caps or risk the rath of red ranter…
city are just playing the role of newcastle in the rooney transfer.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:41
Whatever way you spin it, our current complement of senior strikers stands at two and to make matters worse both are support strikers naturally. I would say that getting another striker in the door is pretty essential at the minute.
Personally I think the actions and negotiations around Berbatov have been badly mishandled by ourselves and Spurs in an effort to haggle an extra million or two out of each other. Let’s just hope we get some form of sensible resolution to the whole thing before the transfer window shuts.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:46
@dan(u-ol): I know what I meant, and we do need more goals from another source other than Ronaldo.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:49
berba would be an idiot and a complete **** if he went to city. that’s all I have to say.
September 1st, 2008 at 13:52
It is a worry for me that we havent added a striker and in my books berbatov suits us.granted he does drop deep but it cannot be compared to the way tevez and rooney do it. i just love the way he constanlty switches from the ‘hole’position to that of an out and out striker. For me just having the same squad like last season doesnt guarantee us bagging, only increases our chances
Finally off topic, to all England fans,if only your beloved team echoed your counterparts. read this.Makes you sick doesnt it
September 1st, 2008 at 14:05
Berbatov is on a plane to manchester (sky sports news)
im hopeful because i really dont think that berbatov wants to go to city
September 1st, 2008 at 14:08
@dan(u-ol): I think the caps were necessary given the situation and i dont think a british transfer fee record sounds like its going to be a bit-part role in Berbatovs transfer.
September 1st, 2008 at 14:13
The Red Devils greatly need a post striker, and I always see Klaas Jan Huntelaar to take over nistelrooy’s place.
Berbatov is not the one for man utd even though he’s great.
September 1st, 2008 at 14:13
bloody hell….37 million pounds. maybe a tad over-valued?
September 1st, 2008 at 14:20
@Little_dud: Ignore the “City offer record fee headline”.
“Spurs accept offer from City” is a slightly different matter.
September 1st, 2008 at 14:32
FUCK what happened to the surprise I was supposed to wake up to?
September 1st, 2008 at 14:32
@DMC: sorry if i dont share your optimism but i think Mark Hughes has confirmed it and Spurs would be stupid to turn it down
September 1st, 2008 at 14:39
Tottenham is not going to pull the plug on this deal, Berbatov is. He wants European football and will not go to Man City unless Man Utd never come in with an offer.
Rooney - better than Ronaldo
September 1st, 2008 at 14:41
@ Little_Dud. Can Spurs, or for that matter, can a club force a player to join another team just because they have accepted their bid or does the player have to consent to it?

well if thats the only good news of the day I’ll be happy… good look to Saha… now do whatever you have to and get a replacment

September 1st, 2008 at 14:55
DAVID GILL WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU.. stop knocking out a crafty one and get your fucking arse in gear.. if the scum across the way manage to pull this one from under our noses i swear…. you’ve had how many months to wrap this one up and what have you been doing? laurels and resting scream to mind!
im starting to think that grog was right with his claims that we have fuck all to spend… i mean.. £30mill?.. oh yea didn’t we get that much for winning the champions league? where the hell has that gone?
fucking glazers… (i really want to be retracting this entire rant by the end of the day.. seriously.. what a day to wake up to)

Ajax have ruled out Huntelaar move. LinkI. wasnt expecting it to happen anyway
September 1st, 2008 at 14:56
Why do city think theyr the new chelsea, chelsea had an excellent foundation of a team which in all honesty had underachieved massively in the pre mourinho years, cit-eh on the other hand have a handful of gifted stars but are looking to create a super team. I really hope berba sees sense and sees the opportunity that Manchester United can present him with, not the cash lump that city are planning to drop on him. These SSN letters are really annoying me, it reminds me just how much the average football fan is willing to hate United because of our success, we havent been attall obnoxious throughout the summer or in recent memory, were just a damn good team who get results and never seemingly get the man we want anymore, can any see yet another highjack on the horizon? Essien, Ronaldinho, Bale, Mikel and now Berbatov to the shitty?
September 1st, 2008 at 14:56
if i was fergie, i would bid £40 million for benzema…
September 1st, 2008 at 14:56
@Nelson Otieno:
The player has to agree to the move.
An example is in 1998 when a sale between Man Utd and Tottenham of Ole didn’t go through because the player turned the move down.

(Screams, throws the computer against the wall and runs down the street butt-naked yelling: BERBATOV, HI-HI-HI! CRAZY!!!)
September 1st, 2008 at 14:58
I hope Berba doesn’t aggree terms with shitty-city…
Ronaldo - way way better than Rooney…
September 1st, 2008 at 15:04
OI! BERBA! fancy some champions league action… well. theres only one team in manchester your gonna get some of that my bulgarian friend… come on just think off all the effort you’ve put in to being a miserable sod… you really want to continue to be miserable at wastelands? come on.. join the devils.. you know you want to.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:04
To everyone who’s up in arms that City might end up with Berba, look at it this way: the boy wants Champions League football, and while City may be able to offer him crazy money from their new owners they won’t be able to give him the prestige of playing in the biggest club competition in the world.
Anyway, Berba’s good but I don’t want the kind of player who’ll sulk and refuse to play if he feels like it. On the Plus side though, the BBC are saying (albeit through an almost-anonymous text-in) that Benzema’s been spotted in Manchester.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:05
Wow, things are really hotting up
Though if Berba joins Shitty, I’ll be up in arms too with ya RedDevil..one more computer crashes against the wall..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! ****¤”"”!!”!¤#”%”#¤*!”#¤*”"!*#”!*#!”*#*! !” !”*f** FUCKING CUNTS!
Still, I hope Fergie does the Rooney-type of thing and gets Berba right in front of Hughes` ugly, old and beaten-up looking face. What are Spurs doing? Are the Stuuuuuupid? Are they Cheeeaap? No, they are jsut SOME FECKIN IDIOTS THAT DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SULKY, NOT-SO EXPENSIVE 27 year old Bulgarian and a 18 year old boy for the future. If they think Berba is worth more than Rooney, THEN LICK YOUR *#!¤”! For Gods sake, they value him £37 MILLION! Somethying is wrong with that Levy guy, something is just wrong!
Okey, I just needed to get that out of my system. Come on, really? Berbatov to Citeh? ARE YOU FECKING KIDDIN ME?!

@michael: I went to the BBC website and saw nothing on Benzema.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:10
dont get excited sig… Benzema… in my dreams… I cant deal with this at work I have sky sports news in the background… its to much to take
September 1st, 2008 at 15:11
@RichmondRed: yes it does on the transfer deadline day thread, but its a blatant lie though(benzema rumour that is). im keeping all of my anger inside but its really hard, WHY DOES THIS SHIT ALWAYS HAPPEN TO UNITED!
September 1st, 2008 at 15:11
@RichmondRed: he said it was in an anonymous text-in. won’t be on the front page or even in the news section.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:11
If we don’t get him then we have made a mess of this, we needed a plan B, and leaving your only target to the last day of the window is very risky to say the least.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:13
Also, why are we all so crazy about Berba. This is a forward who at Tottenham, one of the freest scoring teams in the league, has not yet managed to get near twenty in the league, and only has decent stats because he bangs in goals against teams like Aalkmar in the UEFA cup. I see his value to us: he’s slow the game down up front and really allow us to dominate up top with more precision and control, but he’s not the clincal finisher everyone thinks he is. How we haven’t managed to use this summer to identify a similar player aged 10 years younger and costing half (if that) as much I don’t know. I won’t be unhappy if we get him but for more than £20mil I think it could be a rip-off.
And dan, while it’s probably a lie about Benzema, I fucking love that boy so I’m keeping hope alive in the rationality-deprived part of my brain.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:13
@dan(u-ol): Because Fergie has pride I guess. He wont fall in, he is to stubborn to realise that we actually need Berba more than Spurs need to gat him away. They can just give him to a club like Citeh, but we cant! WE HAVE TO GET HIM, BENZEMA OR HUNTELAAR FAST OR I WILL SCREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAM so loud Ill scare the neightbours.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:14
oh my, i’m going to
now. man i cant even put my anger into words. f*ck you city bitches
September 1st, 2008 at 15:14
There is nothing on Benzema. Some clown just texted in saying that his mum, who works at a taxi company or some shit like that, had an order for a car for Mr. Benzema at Manchester Airport…
Rooney - better than Ronaldo
September 1st, 2008 at 15:15
I dont care if Fergie buys Berba for 1 million quid or 100 mill. JUST SIGN HIM!
September 1st, 2008 at 15:17
@Andrei: Stop with that “Rooney - better than Ronaldo” crap. We all know Ronaldo is the best player in the world and I will be delighted when he returnes. He give the team something extra when he is on the field. RONALDO IS BETTER THAN ANYONE!
September 1st, 2008 at 15:18
I doubt Berbatov will turn Citeh down unless we get a bid accepted sharpish.
Think about it, there is no future for Berbatov at Spurs, it would be best for him to leave for Citeh and get a massive pay packet instead of staying with Spurs.
I don’t see Spurs even accepting our offer if we matched whatever the bitters paid, they’ll probably start asking for £40m, and if we don’t pay up (which we wouldn’t) then they’d go to Berbatov and say “it’s Citeh or nowhere”.
He’s moving today, and it is up to us to get an offer accepted before it’s too late.
Spurs will be loving this, after we played a game of “chicken” with them, waiting until the very last minute and seeing who concedes to the others demands first, someone has just come in and given Spurs victory.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:18
I hope Red Ranter dont ban me for all the caps. But I hope he understand that I am going mental here and just want to show people how I really feel.
RONALDO IS BETTER THAN ANYONE!
September 1st, 2008 at 15:18
why do none of my comments go through?!
September 1st, 2008 at 15:19
i just came down..if he is leaving for money then let him leave….the history repeats…we know what happened to greedy cunts like robben, ballack, mikel …. city can have him for 34 m… since there are no much strikers available , lets have a quick fix this time ..may be a loan move and then nxet year we can enter teh market ….Hughes is really creating a team there …a Top 4 ???????
September 1st, 2008 at 15:20
@RedDevil: you might not care.. but i bet the glazers do…. clowns in suits.. thats what they are if we get fucked by spurs.
September 1st, 2008 at 15:23
This day is getting more shitier. Man city berba’s bid accepted?
