I love Pink Floyd, The Who, Dave Mathews Band, Rush. And I'd add in a bit of Dream Theater, Led Zep, The Doors, Guns N Roses (their early work), Lynyrd Skynrd, Fleetwood Mac, Travis, Joe Satriani and pretty much the whole Forrest Gump sound track among the classic stuff. Among modern music I love a little industrial music in NIN, Deftones, the older albums of Metallica, and some mellow stuff like Coldplay although some of their new work is a bit too repetitive.
