Hargreaves — so excited that he might pass out
Owen Hargreaves seems quite keen on making his return to the United first team — desperate, even, but in a good way — so much that he thinks he’ll probably pass out when he returns.
“It will be an amazing feeling to run out at Old Trafford again. I’ll be so excited I’ll probably pass out. I just want to be part of it again, to be available and healthy. I can’t wait to be involved. I want to be able to pull on the shirt and have an effect on games. I just want to compete in matches, work with the coaches to improve my game and become a better player. I want a good season to repay the faith shown in me by the United fans.”
Love the player, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed till I see him get a run of matches.

I think I will pass out next time Hargo scores a wonderfully curled freekick

Hope to hear news of him training next week. Would love it if he was on the bench at least for Beskitas game.

Alan Hansen: United have lost three games – I think they are out of it.
On a completely unrelated note, hope that Hargo comes back stronger and better than ever and gives us the best possible run that will win us the title. Hey! It is not impossible… remember Xavi?

@Andrei: Hasn’t that scotscouse idiot learnt anything about predicting what United can and can’t do?
November 11th, 2009 at 22:47
@Traverse: Please, he never learns. One thing I do love about his prediction is that they always fail: United in fourth (2006); Liverpool for the title (2007), Tottenham pushing for 4th (2008), etc.
He always fails. I swear, if it wasn’t for all the football action, I would not watch MOTD; they should seriously pick some better pundits to do it (Alan Shearer is great, Marcel Desailly is always funny; even the Arsenal cunt whose name I never know is better than Hansen).
November 11th, 2009 at 23:11
@Andrei: His prediction record’s been bad, but his punditry on MotD is certainly better than Shearer. Not that it’s saying much, but still. My dog — if I ever had one — would be a more competent pundit than Shearer.

@Andrei: His name is Keown, and he is a chimp bastard.

@Red Ranter: What does Alan Shearer know about football, other than he is queerer/dearer than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer!

Here’s some pretty interesting stuff from Nani. Says SAF still blows his gaskets – and with some gusto too!!

@Traverse: He knows how to stick his elbow in your lug-hole. He was really good at that!
November 12th, 2009 at 3:28
@Redrich: Yup I saw that: roughly translates to he’s very, very, very, very frustrated.
But props to him for showing some diplomacy in the press.
November 12th, 2009 at 3:48
@Red Ranter: Certainly reveals that SAF is not happy with Nani. No Duh!!
But, you’re right, Nani is showing some maturity with the press – lets hope it bleeds over onto the pitch!

@Red Ranter: Come on! I like Shearer… he’s quiet and reserved and never anything other than how good the striker was to [insert anything].
November 12th, 2009 at 5:54
@Andrei: You like him for being quiet and reserved? He’s a pundit FFS! What good is a quiet and reserved pundit?!
It’s like saying you like a race horse because it jogs along steadily.
Most of what I hear from Shearer are inane platitudes.

In case all of you have been overwhelmed by the news of OH will be fit very soon to pull that shirt on… I would like to give you another side of the same coin. There is story flowing across net that PARK is also fit to play for S Korea in friendly.. I don’t don’t know about OH but don’t be surprised if next time when you are Man UTD you come across Park as one of the wingers………….

I’ll be so excited I’ll probably pass out
I hope not. I mean he will probably pick up another injury doing that
