Kagawa exit begins United exodus

Shinji KagawaWith little more than 24hrs of the summer transfer window remaining, Shinji Kagawa has agreed to rejoin Borussia Dortmund after what can only be considered as a disappointing two year spell at Manchester United.

German newspaper, Bild, are reporting that Kagawa has agreed terms earlier today with United receiving a fee of just £6.3m.

Kagawa joined United for a fee in the region of £20m in 2012 and, just as many players recently seem to do, splits opinion between fans with some believing he’s not up to the job whilst others believe he’s not been given adequate opportunities to prove himself.

Wherever the truth lies I guess we’ll never find out. Personally I think Kagawa’s spell at United is indicative of what’s going wrong at United in recent years. A strange, expensive and seemingly unnecessary purchase when other areas of the squad required improving has turned out to be yet another error of judgement by those entrusted with the honour of running the club.

In the next 24hrs it’s likely MANY United players will head for the exit with many disillusioned with life within Carrington in recent years, months and even weeks.

Be prepared for an exodus and for one or two big surprises.
