Fantastic Wimbledon final. I was supporting Federer but Nadal played great and it was some of the best tennis you’ll ever see on display.
Did anyone notice Calderon in the stands :?: He is one creepy guy

@Tomas: Nadal is like Germany wheras Federer is more like Spain in football-tennis terms. They are both classy sportsmen though.

I wanted to watch the final but Top Gear (best show ever) was on. Still I saw the end and most of the 1st 4 sets. How can footballers moan about playing too many games in a week when this is clearly more tiring and they have to play every 2 or 3 days during a major tennis tournament? Yet footballers are tired if they have to play more than once a week. Unbelieveable!

I was backing nadal, tomas that is very is a poor analysis on nadal, I think nadal is the most talented player in the world, he has got everything and what he did today was brilliant took mental strength to win today, I would say nadal is the man utd of tennis, power guts never say die attitude, and would do things out of nothing. nadal is much in the mould of sampras. I am happy has hell nadal won today, I dont want him to do what Ivan Lendl where he could not win wimbledon.

Did someone remember PHOENIX SUNS with and without Shaquille O’Neal

That is exactly how our attacking game will look like with Huntelar…

If you must choose someone who is more like saha type of player and is also available at this moment it has to be Eto from barca ( he is not that expensive like Berbatov)…why not? If we can convince him to share his time on the bench with tevez that would be our best solution…

smart answers Steve…About Huntelar…I completely agree with you …

As much as Nadal shares the same nationality with a Spainish cnut we all know too well, he’s my favourite tennis player by far and i honestly couldn’t be happier right now, the last time i screamed like i did was on May 21st. It was an awesome final and the entire tournament has been full of surprises. Venus for the ladies and Nadal for the men were my predictions at the beginning and they all came through, Fergie signing Huntelaar would cap it all.

I know ronado has acted wrongly but a message to man utd fans don’t boo the guy for goodness sake if he does stay, he done wonders for man utd and to say he is a primadona is childish and pathetic, what really angers me is steven gerrard twice wanted to leave liverpool for a club thinking their bigger than they actually are and the media give him no stick only urging him on to leave so england could do well isn’t that ironic.

Another thing that has realy got me going is the media almost having a campaign to create a picture that man utd are a club in crisis. it’s like they are so upset that they overhyped the most overated side ever in arsenal, they want to take their frustrations out on man utd because their beloved arsenal won nothin again and they are wrong yet again, some of the crap they have written like ronaldo will rot in the reserves is there any source to this story who said this not heard it from gill ferguson the glazers nothing, yet they still in print this story in every article they have, fergie will leave if ronaldo goes where did fergie say that never heard him say that, and queiroz leaving will see ronaldo leave where did they get that from, they are giving their opinion not the facts, I think querioz going to portugal will be a blessing that means it will be like man utd having contacts in both ends no coach corrupting ronaldo.

it is rich from the media who when they had this media campaign to see ferguson leave in 04 and especially in 2005 after united crashed out in december they blamed querioz for man utds formations in europe and blaming him for real madrids collapse in 2004 saying he was a poor manager for madrid, but if they actually at the time looked at the problems swallowing madrid they would know better. now they are hailing him has one of the main reasons why united are doing so well, like the old football saying goes the fickle world of football.

@Liam: My thoughts exactly when someone was asking who i thought was more fit between a football and tennis player. The tennis players run around the court in matches that could go on for four hours, swinging a racquet takes more strength than kicking a ball and in tennis you’re all alone, no team mates to fall back on. Its really amazing.

@steve: You cannot seriously think that Nadal is more talented than Federer?

Why would anyone buy a 3rd choice kit. It’ll only be worn by the team about 2 or 3 times. As far as I’m concerned the blue kit with the silver vodafone logo was the best away kit we had. I can’t remember what season it was tough. About Huntelaar, if Ronaldo leaves we need a No. 9 to replace him. Basically we’d be playing a Milan style Christmas tree formation with a 9 and two 10’s. Obviously Drogba is the best No.9 around. After that I’d say it’s Ruud or Torres(not a typical 9, not really strong). Huntelaar is the best option when you consider price, quality etc.

I do tomas, nadal at his best is the most unstopable force in the world he can just wipe anyone out. he has destroyed federer in a lot of matches they have faced each other. everything about his game is fantastic. what made me laugh is people say how well murray has done but they should go look at nadal and there is a guy who has worked hours upon hours on his game, from a guy 3 years ago who was a poor grass court and now has beating the best player on the planet still in his best years not beating him when he was declining makes a bigger achievment.
