Manchester United ‘Official’ 07/08 Away Kit

This one is circulating around forums and seems like the real deal. It’s a poster someone took a picture of and uploaded it. The good news is that it is a black kit. I wanted a black kit this time. The bad news is that it is not this one. I really wanted that one to be the away kit.

Nonetheless, this kit below is pretty good, although the picture quality is bad.

Picture of the kit after the jump.

Agreed it looks far better than the Home kit. I glad we went with a black kit this year although for some reason whenever we have a black kit as our away top we hardly ever wear it.

What do you mean posts getting deleted? In case you don’t use Wordpress, the system automatically sends certain comments it thinks are spam into the spam list. So I have to go fish them out and set them as not spam. Plus I was away from the system for a while. You see I have a regular life too, you know. :)

I like this a lot. I really hope there is a red stripe, and that there are red numbers as well.

I have not changed any moderation procedures yet. All first time commenters on this blog are put under moderation by default (this is to guard against spam). If yours got sent into moderation then it means you might have provided a different email address that you hadn’t previously provided.

And yes, comment moderation is an essential part of blogging. Trust me, there are hundreds of spam comments that come on a daily basis. Thanks to comment moderation though!

This isn’t a training kit because Nike wouldn’t advertise a training kit on a Billboard. All this of course is speculation. We’ll have to wait and watch. Of course, if this does turn out right, then you know where you saw it first. :)

Its a shame we cant keep last years red kit, it was real classic. But this black one and red one (i like the stripe idea at the back) are not bad and hopefully they will bring us as much luck as the last kit. I think the last yrs white kit will continue.

agreed harry, last season’s home kit was mint! pure aesthetic brilliance! the best kit we’ve had in several years, without a doubt. this year’s kits are too plain for my liking, and i’m also not too sure about the stripe thing down the back, but otherwise pretty decent offerings from nike. i wonder whether we will ever make a return to the classic green/yellow or the infamous grey away shirts? ;)
