Add to that Zidane's high profile role with Madrid where Cantona has no role with United and Madrid has a seducer ready to sway French talent to that team. Make no mistake, this form of salesmanship works on players because at the end of the day, footballers are not rocket scientists and are swayed easily by emotion and stupid motivations. It worked on Benzema and it will work on Ribery too.
