Smith's first touch is one of the best at the club, possibly even better than Rooney's. It was one thing that was pointed out to me by a Leeds fan when Smithy joined us and I've watched that particular aspect of his game ever since. Watch him more closely (assuming he gets to stay at Utd...and he should) you'll see what I mean. Smithy's probably the closest thing we've had to Mark Hughes since he left.
