Nominate us…

Tag: Site News @ 5:08 pm

… for the Soccerlens Awards 2009.

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. There are several categories and before the actual voting begins, sometime in the near future, sites have to be nominated. So if you think we deserve to be on the list of nominees, then go on, nominate us. Here’s how you do it:

1. Go here.

2. Select the category that fits us best (I think Team blog, Team Specific Writer, and Community. But if you think there are others that may have slipped our notice feel free to nominate us there.)

3. Copy-paste the award categories list in an email, list your nomination for each as many categories as you care about, and then send it through email to awards@soccerlens.com. And please do nominate other football sites / blogs that you might read.

Cheers.

  • I’ve read the story on the sun about Rooney’s wage increase saga, how true that is,God knows. However, truth be told, we might be struggling financially to accommodate players who need such a pay rise, but then, why have players like Gary earning 85 quid a week? Sack the guy into retirement and add half of that to Rooney save extra 40 quid a week and the club moves on.

i dont know what you guys think about it, but after Ronaldo leaving the worst thing to happen to United is loosing Rooney. And with Perez in picture, anything can happen! We’ve over the years seen what he’s capable of.

  • @Jay Jay: That’s just too logical. Why not get rid of EVDS, Neville, Scholes and deadwood like Nani and Tosic. The money alone could pay for two Rooney’s

  • @Jay Jay: @gator: Getting rid of old wood is okay with me but adding Rooney 40000 doesnt make any sense considering he is not playing like a 140000 a week player and we dont have a sugar daddy like city or Chelsea.
If you set a standard, you maintain it.What happens when Evra, Vidc, and other players demand more money? Or should it be only for Rooney to ask for an increment in these hard times?

  • Wonder what numptee formation Fergie has in store for us against the Wastlands crew. . All I gotta say, is that Vida, Rio, or Wes, or even Fletch better CLOBBER the Argentina, Argentina, Argentina Tevez, before he clobbers us! The sheik of Arab-ee, he bought the Man Shitty, he thinks he’ll be Lord of the Mancs, but all he’ll get IS SPANKED. The sheik of Arab-ee, will get a dose of reality – well, we’ll see ;-)
