That is something you cannot teach and only players with a goal poacher's instinct have. He's special. Shannon; Yes he has matured a lot and it shows especially when he doesn't get his way. In the past he not only would begin to pout but it would affect his game. Now he seems focused and zeroed in on the the primary goal, to use an obvious pun.
