Unfortunatly however, given the signings of Nani, Anderson and OH i cant see all three Rs playing together next season.But with sicknote Saha (i like that johnpanda) Smith (if hes still here) and Old Ole for competition Rossi will get 30+ games next season and should be amining at about 12 or so goals. Rossi, in my opinion, is capable of getting 20+ for us next season and if Rooney and Ronaldo do the same we could have a 60 goal a season strike force. However, I still think we need to buy another striker for one simple reason. Rossi is not a box player, target man, back-to-goal striker or leader of the line in the way that Ruud was for us, and that sicknote Saha is to a certain extent. Rossi seems more of a creative second-striker type in the mould of Rooney or Scholes (in his early days), albeit with an excellent strike rate. Currently we have lots of players who can perform that type of creative role, running from deep positions: Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Park etc. At present Saha is the only player capable of leading the line, winning balls in the air and consistently getting on the end of moves, and unfortunately he's always injured! Someone like McCarthy would be a sensible option in the short term. Rossi is a class player and definitely a big prospect for the future.
