Until the cable tv providers here in Vancouver offer a High Definition package that is worthy and that offers all analog channels in digital I won't by an LCD. They are beautiful, especially for HD DVD's but I' quite happy with mine in it's HD settings. Also, I couldn't afford 56 inched in LCD. I'd halve to go down to 42 inches for it to fall in my price range. That's shrinkage.
