Today’s roundup was a little late thanks to some overwhelming response for our last post. But well, you can always trust the Scousers to be passionate about their stuff. Okay, enough compliments to them for the day. It was a struggle to be civil, mind you, but they didn’t do much flaming either. So we’re even I guess.
Speaking of flaming, I think I need to formulate some sort of a comment policy. (I have been lenient in general, allowing most posts to go through.) But I guess there will be cases where I will have to draw a line, and I will spell them out in a separate post.
Enough of that for now, on with the round up.

If you believe the News of the World that is. Although I have a strange feeling about this. I mean, only NOTW seem to be carrying his quotes while any other blog and forum seem to have copy-pasted the entire article.
Anyway, here is what he had to say.

All quotes today will be from the boss.
If this can be some sweetener over the seemingly grim reality of Heinze wanting to leave then here it is. SAF has clearly stated that Gabriel Heinze will not move to Liverpool.
“I can assure you, Liverpool will not be getting Gabriel Heinze,” Ferguson said.
“We can put that to bed right now and we have done so. We have had a couple offers for him and we have turned them down.”

So there are clubs after him as suspected, but wait, there may yet be more good news.

The Heinze thing stopped me from writing this bit yesterday. But here it is.
Kieran Richardson has finally completed his move to Sunderland ending weeks of speculation. He’s one player, lot of us fans would be happy to see leave the club. Clearly inconsistent when given the chance he was always going to be booted out at some point.
While, Fletcher and O’Shea stepped up their game when given the chance, KR was left with a lot to be desired ever since his promising start to his career, and a successful loan spell at West Brom. It has been downhill ever since.

So as we continue with the latest installment of our soap opera, we have an optimistic Daily Mail reporting that Tevez will come over to OT and will be unveiled on Thursday. They are so optimistic of the deal that they already have a photoshopped image of Tevez being unveiled with SAF by his side. Although if he is coming to Old Trafford to be unveiled by the boss, he will be left scratching his head, as the team would be thousands of miles away in the far east.

The Tevez saga takes an interesting (but actually, quite tedious) turn as the Premier League blocks Tevez’s move to United and also rejected a personal letter from Tevez addressed to the PL asking for his registration with West Ham to be cancelled.

A quick update on some of the news stories yesterday. There were quite a few interesting reports, especially some quotes finally from Sir Alex Ferguson on the Tevez issue, the unveiling of our new summer signings and a report on Smith.

A very good morning to you all. Enjoy the Sunday while you can.
Let’s get down to today’s (and some of yesterday’s) stories quickly.

Quite a few things to report today. Of course, we’ll spare the Scousers this time! Apparently they don’t take criticism too lightly. I know, certain things can really hurt. So let’s move on to worthwhile things.

It’s been quiet with nothing much to report about. Apart from some stray gossip about players who might leave the club. So we will keep this pretty short and leave you for the day.
Oh, yes. You could use your spare time to check out the forum instead. Anyway, here are some of the interesting links that you might want to follow.
