Morning all. Yes, the daily roundup is back! Let’s get it quickly out of the way. So without any meaningless banter from my side, here goes.

The week that passed us by was another eventful one. Some heartbreak, some relief, some rather slow days, some crazy ones. Some days where we just hit our heads with one another and yelled the name of some striker before running around in circles for no apparent reason.
It was quite a week, that. So before moving on, let us reflect on the last seven days. We review some articles published by us as well as news items from other sources.

Good Morning all. Forgive me if this isn’t the quality of Red Ranter, but I’m just doing my best to step in and provide the news for my fellow Man Utd. fans. Good win for the Red Devils yesterday at Wembley, and with both teams looking pretty good during the game, it looks like the upcoming season will be a good one. There’s a lot of news on the game to get to, so lets get things rolling.

There were quite a few stories that, I admit, I didn’t cover over the past few days. Not that I wasn’t aware of them. Just that I was swamped with work (in my real life, that is) that I couldn’t get to the part of writing posts.
Today’s round up will certainly not be comprehensive. Nonetheless, it will refresh things for those living under a rock for the past 2-3 days.

Not much to talk about today apart from linking you all to news that has become pretty stale by now.
Anyhow, let’s get on with the routine.

Today’s roundup was a little late thanks to some overwhelming response for our last post. But well, you can always trust the Scousers to be passionate about their stuff. Okay, enough compliments to them for the day. It was a struggle to be civil, mind you, but they didn’t do much flaming either. So we’re even I guess.
Speaking of flaming, I think I need to formulate some sort of a comment policy. (I have been lenient in general, allowing most posts to go through.) But I guess there will be cases where I will have to draw a line, and I will spell them out in a separate post.
Enough of that for now, on with the round up.

If you believe the News of the World that is. Although I have a strange feeling about this. I mean, only NOTW seem to be carrying his quotes while any other blog and forum seem to have copy-pasted the entire article.
Anyway, here is what he had to say.

All quotes today will be from the boss.
If this can be some sweetener over the seemingly grim reality of Heinze wanting to leave then here it is. SAF has clearly stated that Gabriel Heinze will not move to Liverpool.
“I can assure you, Liverpool will not be getting Gabriel Heinze,” Ferguson said.
“We can put that to bed right now and we have done so. We have had a couple offers for him and we have turned them down.”

So there are clubs after him as suspected, but wait, there may yet be more good news.

The Heinze thing stopped me from writing this bit yesterday. But here it is.
Kieran Richardson has finally completed his move to Sunderland ending weeks of speculation. He’s one player, lot of us fans would be happy to see leave the club. Clearly inconsistent when given the chance he was always going to be booted out at some point.
While, Fletcher and O’Shea stepped up their game when given the chance, KR was left with a lot to be desired ever since his promising start to his career, and a successful loan spell at West Brom. It has been downhill ever since.

So as we continue with the latest installment of our soap opera, we have an optimistic Daily Mail reporting that Tevez will come over to OT and will be unveiled on Thursday. They are so optimistic of the deal that they already have a photoshopped image of Tevez being unveiled with SAF by his side. Although if he is coming to Old Trafford to be unveiled by the boss, he will be left scratching his head, as the team would be thousands of miles away in the far east.
