EVDS was the solution for Manchester United’s goalkeeping problems after the departure of the legendary Peter Schmeichel. He has been very instrumental in the success of Manchester United this season. It makes me wonder why Sir Alex hasn’t bid earlier for this excellent shotstopper.
However, he has become old and might start making mistakes if his weary legs are not given enough rest.

Rossi’s has once again boosted his stock at Parma, helping them move two points clear off the drop zone. Parma thumped fellow relegation rivals Messina 4-1 in what was to be a blistering first half display. Rossi scored two well taken goals. Read on for goal videos and links to match report.

Opinion on Giuseppe Rossi is split amongst Man Utd fans. Some consider him to be just the striker we need for next season (I’d be one of them), others are more interested in chasing after Huntelaar, Berbatov, Tevez or the ‘new flavour of the month’, as a comment on SL stated.

Personally, I think it was a bit troubling that Lee was beaten by Sinclair and he’ll need more time (preferably on loan) before we can pass any serious judgement on him. He looks decent enough.
Eagles though, is a different case. He’s had his loan periods, and he’s had his time playing in the reserves. It’s time for him to stand up and be counted, and on recent (albeit scant) evidence, he’s doing a much better job than Kieran Richardson.

We saw a few United players in action for an extended period of time for the first time - Kieran Lee, Dong Fangzhou and Chris Eagles.
In addition, with the season almost over it was also a good chance to see the second string in action for probably the last time - West Ham will meet a stronger squad - and I think it’s as good a time as any to discuss the value of each player to United.
