He got booed because he turned down a permanent contract with us for more money at City (who are one of our biggest rivals), he has bad mouthed SAF etc since the transfer and has had no class or dignity.

If you think that warranted cheers, get the hell out of our club. yes he ran around like a headless chicken for two years but two years is not long enough to outdo all the wrong he did since last season.

and yes i booed him today and yes i loved it.

and no i won’t be booing ronaldo if he ever returns

@Redrich: I agree about Valencia. He needs to be broken in slowly. He is not used to the pressure and expectations that come with being a United player. In time he may start being more aggressive but right now, he is to timid or cautious on the ball and that is not what we bought him for. I’d rather have Park falling on his ass all over the place but at least working hard. Did I say that? Forget I said that.

@Craig Mc: I often disagree with Fergie and I'll even get mad at him but the fact is I love the man and I would personally beat the shit out of somebody that booed him if I were drunk enough at a game. He's not perfect and he deserves to be criticized and questioned but he deserves loyalty and respect and you know, after twenty fantastic years, he deserves our love and adoration too. So I sincerely hope that United fans send Carlito straight to Hell.

@RedDave: Ok. Fair enough, but by that logic it should apply to other footballers too (not just ex-United players). I'm sure you would have booed opposition Liverpool players too, for instance. Or do you really seethe by cheering your side regardless of any player?

@Craig Mc: I don’t think we’ve seen enough yet to form a firm opinion.
Tosic has hardly played with the first team at all and remains a mystery to me. Valencia may well need some time to settle in, but I, too, am unimpressed with what I’ve seen so far.

I think Valencia needs to be sat down for a while to let him accustom his skill set with what is required at OT. Let him work on a few fundamentals that separate success with United and teams like …..Wigan!!
