I really think wage structures can't be ignored. Its just against basic principles of management. Like RedRanter said, it will then become a free for all. Rio is an important player. Very important. He will make a demand of 120,000. But it will come down to negotiations between the two parties. Lets not forget that if Rio does leave us on a Bosman, he will still strruggle to find an A grade team, who will pay a 31 year old CB more money and play him regularly.
