I think they could have put someone onto the bid and made a cash+ player deal....He is an outstanding talent and if he lands up in Liverpool or Chelsea is dangerous..He is agile,quick and have great nose for goals...Ideal for United and it would have been a treat to watch him line up with Ronaldo,Anderson,Rooney and even Nani...with Hargreaves and Carrick to cover up....Would have been the perfectly balanced side...As United as change their game to speedy passing game rather than the usual English crossing game Torres would get into the groove early too...If Liverpool gets him, get ready to watch him and Gerrard make merry!!!
