As far as I am concerned he has shown nothing but contempt for a club who stood by him during a long spell out through injury and some very dodgey form, and fans who have always idolised him. Of all the clubs he should choose to play for, liverpool are unquestionabally the most hurtful to all of us. I also think the whole saga may be having a negative impact on the squad.
