United sign Michele Fornasier
After a lot of controversy, it’s finally official as United seem to have completed the deal to bring 16 year old defender Michele Fornasier from Fiorentina, according to the official site.
United have confirmed the arrival of 16-year-old Italian defender Michele Fornasier. He’ll join the Reds’ Under-18s squad with the rest of the first-year Academy scholars.

FIFA rejected Fiorentina’s complaint last week so I guess this was just a matter of time. Anybody actually seen him play?

@United Rant: Yes, it was a matter of time. Never seen him play though. He’s a 16 year old, so there wouldn’t be much compilation videos of him anyway. We just seem to be stocking up on a lot of defenders lately.

Ireland 2 Italy 2 We’re through to the play offs at least! Fantastic display from John O Shea MOTM! We were unlucky not to beat them. Shit, so close! Seriously lacking in centre midfield, need Andy Reid back.
