Footballers are warriors but of course they are not warriors like soldiers, but because teams are often structured like the military, it is not a bad analogy or is it wrong to compare them without getting into the deep emotional aspects and the sacrifice of lives. I didn't do that. Why use terms like the Tartan Army and the Red Brigade for teams if we are not allowed to use the military or it's history in debate? No it is not ridiculous and I do not like it being referred as that. If you cannot grasp your head around it, that's not my fault. I would apologize sincerely if I felt I was wrong but I am not.
