@Karl: The Glazer’s aren’t really owners in the classic definition as much as they are stewards. They are glorified custodians and have not thrown in a dollar of their own money but are raping the club of it’s revenues by pocketing large portions and allowing the rest to go towards debts they created to take control of the club. Something that should never ever have been allowed. They need to be told just who the Hell they are and where the Hell they should go. I’m through being Mr. Nice Guy but I also live in Vancouver Canada and have very limited power to do anything to help establish a trust or an organization that can sell out support and financial and political muscle to force these vultures out of town.
How much do I hate the Glazer’s? Yesterday as I was leaving the hospital after visiting my dying mother I noticed a man in the lobby who looked like one of the Glazer brothers (the one with hair). Of course it wasn’t him but he was a dead ringer for the cunt. Immediately a rage built inside of me. I was looking at this complete stranger whose only crime was that he looked like a Glazer and yet all I felt was the urge to go over to him, tell him off and then kick the shit out of him. Of course my sanity kicked in and I woke up from my momentary blood rage and I left but I was amazed at the resemblance and how much anger the thought of a Glazer was bring into my heart, mind and soul. God help me for feeling like this but they should all get cancer. What they are doing to my team is bad enough but what they are doing to millions of die heart passionate supporters of this club is an outright crime. They have taken a staple in our lives, one that has given us so many thrills and incredible pleasure and have turned it into a beast of burden. For that they deserve to suffer. God how I hate that disgusting family and their entire flock of ugly and bald motherfuckers. May they rot in Hell for the pain they are causing all of us.

It’s the Glazer’s whose heads we want on spikes. lining the road out of Manchester like Spartacus and the slaves heads lined the Apian way out of Rome as a symbol to those who revolt. Well how many of you are going to stand up and say to the Glazer’s what I am going to say right now. I AM SPARTACUS. Now lets see them try to put my head on a spike. What we need here is a role reversal of fortunes. We need to revolt. We need to be heard. Now where are our leaders in the community who will hear this rally cry and take up the sword to save this great club?

@Redrich: I know. But, in all honesty, from a business perspective (making money for oneself), can you honestly blame the Glazers for what they are doing? I’m not advocating that they’re doing the right thing morally, but they want to make money (short-term). That’s why, even with another takeover, we may face a similiar situation. We’ll just be moving from jam to peanut butter.

@Scotjimland: They are red till dead but they need to be a whole lot redder under the collar and get mad as Hell at the owners. I do not hate the players and I love Fergie although i am very disappointed in him. I might be negative about the game and the players after a game but trust me, that’s just a review of their on field performance. Off the field I love all the players even the ones I roast over the coals like Anderson, Park, Foster and Neville. Right now the players and the manager are the least of my concerns. We are entering a highly critical period in this clubs future and it’s plans to exist. What happens on the field is important but is very secondary to the real concern which is forcing a sale of the club and an elimination of the debt that is drowning this club with an anchor around it’s neck. I love the player, even if they aren’t that good as a whole.

@Scotjimland: Soory mate but I can only be how I feel in my heart and soul. I am positive when there is reason to be positive. I was nothing but positive from 1991 when we won the Cup Winners Cup right up to the end of 07/08 when we won the Champions League. Oh I had a few moments of melancholy and anger but overall, what was there to be upset about. Title after title, champagne football, attacking and entertaining football and Cantona, Giggs, Beckham, Keane RVN, and Ronaldo to keep me happy every day. Then last year the music died for me despite us winning the league. We lost Ronaldo and the team stopped playing the kind of football that I loved to watch. I was a customer who bought a staple item because I loved the way it tasted and then the company that produced decided to take out some of the better ingredients, lessen the taste and change the recipe and now I am supposed to like that product as if nothing has changed? To quote comedian Damon Wayons “I don’t thinks so, Homey don’t play dat.”
Positivity is a frame of mind created and nurtured by the environment around it. My mother is very ill and dying and my team is slowly but surely dying and I am supposed to be positive? Sorry mate but I am only human and like any human being, I hurt and I feel pain. And what is happening to this team is killing me and I cannot put up a fake front and talk about how sunny it is and how great our team is when I know it’s not true. So again I say I’m sorry for the way I feel and for my negativity. I don’t like bringing other people down, but then again, I don’t like it when other people try to force me to feel up when the situation and circumstances don’t warrant that kind of effort or sacrifice.

@Karl: The way the Glazer’s are behaving has become the norm for business practices in an environment with very little Government restraint.
People like the Glazers will look at the silly little rules that are put in place, and then work their way around them:- No ethical sense, no sense of conscience for the rubble they leave behind them, only one goal – put as much money as they can in their pockets.
Can I blame them for wanting to make money? No! Can I blame them for how they’re going about it? You bet, mate.
I’ve supported this club since the middle 1960′s, and if want to continue this, these fuckers need to be gone!!

@Karl: Mate, there is no way until those with power and stroke who live in England, in government and in big business and those especially who live in Manchester and who support the club, stand up and get mad and start doing something. You and I and all the rest around the world who care are only peons waiting for leaders to reign us all in. Once we have the leadership and an organization is created from which to act (much stronger and more powerful than little dust bowl known as MUST), then we all can contribute in any which way we can. Money, ban support tot he club etc. This revolution requires stronger and more powerful voices than us. And right now I can’t even hear a whimper. You know who I would seek out as a spokesman and as leader to chase those Glazer’s out? One of Fergie’s old buddies Tony Blair. That’s the kind of a leader we need to get other powerful people involved in the cause. He’s a major footy fan too.

@Grognard: I really thought that with the team stumbling, and him not able to spend to fix the problem, he would use the opportunity to speak up (or at least make some grumblings that the press would be all over). But he’s been as silent as little lamb, comforted by his big contract and retirement years to come.
You know that I have been a big SAF proponent on this blog, but I have to say that he has lost a lot of respect in the eyes of this United supporter.
What happened to the days when the club was all about 3 things. The Manager, the Players and the Fans. A perfect triangle of equal importance, that nary a soul would mess with.
At United now, it’s become a corporate dictatorship and those 3 things have been tossed into the rubble, along with our finances and our future!

…in the shape of Moussa Sissoko from Tolouse for £12mil. I haven’t heard much about this kid myself, but apparently he’s played twice for France already. He’s 6’1, 20 years old and originally from Mali. He’s a Defensive Midfielder in the Vieira mould.

@Redrich: It’s a strange one… a very good player for a position we aren’t in real need of. I guess if we have someone like Sissoko then players like Anderson or Fletcher may be let off the leash to maraud and attack.
Anderson was a great attacking prospect when he joined us, and was until Fergie tried to turn him into a Defensive Midfielder when Hargreaves started getting injured.
What’s strange in all the talk about our club is Fergie’s inability to turn it to the teams advantage. In years past he’d have used all this talk into ‘siege mentality’, a term he pretty much invented in football and get the team giving that 5% extra for the the badge and each other that lifted us above all other clubs.
Now is when we need that most.
