How would he do playing against the elite of Europe? One of the risks with taking on a successful smaller club manager is his smaller way of doing things. This guy knows how to get the most out of nothing. PLaying defensive tactics and managing a team to possess patience and discipline and try to scrape out a 1-0 win or a draw. That's not good enough for United. I would want a man with an International track record, an ability to communicate, lead with discipline and confidence and know how to manipulate the media and the opposition with his well thought out responses and comments. A man who is a good judge of talent but who has the ultimate of ambition. I'm afraid that Moyes, O'Neill and Bruce are great managers but are all small potatoes when considered for Fergie's job. Until the right man does show himself or becomes available, then I think we need to keep our fingers crossed that Fergie sticks around. In two or three years the managerial landscape may look completely different when it comes to candidates. So I think we need to drop the thought of a replacement until we get closer to Judgment Day.
