Andreas Pereira is all set to leave Manchester United

According to Fred Caldeira of EsporteInterativo, Andreas Pereira will depart Old Trafford in this summer transfer window.

The Brazilian midfielder has not had a campaign to remember – and has hardly been in the first XI ever since Bruno Fernandes’ arrival. Even more so since the restart, with the United number 15 playing only 62 minutes in the Premier League.

The report says that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tried to convince Pereira to stay, but the United academy graduate is seeking for regular first-team football and greater appreciation after having a season to forget for the 20 times Premier League Champions.

Pereira’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is already in talks with Portuguese, Spanish and German clubs.

Unfortunately, he hasn’t made the grade at Utd. However, he could still be really useful, as part of a deal for Rice or Grealish. The same can be said about Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard. They would have a much better chance of regular football at West Ham or Villa. No disrespect to either WHU or AV, it’s just a fact.
