Fabrizio Romano gives a positive boost in Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho

Transfer mogul Fabrizo Romano just confirmed that Jadon Sancho’s agent fees are not an issue. As a matter of fact, that has been Romano’s stance since the start of the Sancho-United saga. He previously added that personal terms are agreed and talks are going on. Add ons and installments are yet to be figured out.

Weeks ago, Romano reported that Dortmund want the €120m upfront and not in installments.

Our take

We are starting to witness a pattern here. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, reports confirmed that the deals could be off due to several reasons. In Harry Maguire’s deal, rumours suggested United could look elsewhere. In Bruno Fernandes and Aaron Wan Bissaka deals, publications claimed United were not agreeing to the financial terms.

But, a few days later, United end up getting their man. A similar thing could happen this time with Sancho too. ESPN reported previously that the deal fell off. With positive news from Romano coming in, United could be on their way to secure Sancho’s services.

United’s senior press member James Cooper also confirmed that things look positive and the transfer fee is decided between Dortmund and United.
