Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United to make two new signings

Manchester United are going to play their Premier League season-opener against Crystal Palace in less than 24 hours. And ahead of the encounter, an Instagram comment from the reputed Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has left much of the Manchester United fan base into meltdown.

While replying to a comment on Romano’s post asked by a Manchester United fan page “United Chat” on whether the Italian journalist thinks United would sign anyone or not, Romano answered:

“LB and winger will arrive…step by step.”

It has been a quiet transfer window for Manchester United so far. Donny van de Beek‘s arrival from Ajax for an initial transfer fee of £35m is the only transfer confirmed by the club.

There were claims of United being interested in Sergio ReguilonGareth Bale, and Thiago. While the former two names decided to make a switch from Real Madrid to Tottenham Hotspur, the later joined United’s arch-rivals Liverpool in what could prove to be disastrous for the Reds.

Manchester United have been reportedly in talks to sign Alex Telles from Porto, with Jadon Sancho still remaining a firm target on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer list.

With the reply, Romano hints that United are back in the business and will confirm deals subsequently.

There was a time when I would be excited if Romano and his like said what he just said but the way Woodward has been over the last few windows I can’t. I just can’t bring myself to believe any transfer news until the players are pictured signing the forms. Woodward has killed all my belief and all my trust.

reason why man utd dont bring in TOP TALENTED players , cos they drag they feet when trying to get deals over the line, and always concentrate on 1 player, and miss out on others, man utd could struggle this season,
but if you want top class players to come in at man utd, you need an top class manager, and an man who can get deals over the line, something ed woodward cant do,
what man utd need most is an top class STRIKER

Who’s this guy Romano? A paid agent working for OGS Woodward evil duo?
OGS is a loser and doesn’t even know that Utd need a top striker, not a fancy winger!

I get the awful feeling that if there are any transfers still to happen for Utd it will be panic buys on the last day of the transfer window. I read in another article that even the agents think Woodward and Judge are incompetent. Embarrassing for Utd, depressing for supporters.
