A section of the Manchester United fans have reacted positively to the team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier this week, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that both Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are likely to be in contention, but he was pretty much sure that David de Gea would miss the game after picking up a groin injury on international duty.

However, in the lead up to the game, De Gea has joined his teammates for the team meeting at The Lowry Hotel and a few of United supporters believe Solskjaer has been playing mind games as the Spaniard was deemed unavailable over the past few days.

Here are some of the Twitter reactions:

Wan-Bissaka (tonsillitis) and Martial (thigh) have just returned to first-team training after their respective setbacks and it would come as a surprise, if they are to make the starting lineup against the Reds.

On the other hand, De Gea’s presence is undoubtedly a boost for the encounter but Solskjaer would surely be taking a risk, if the Spaniard has not completely recovered from the midweek setback.

For the past few days, Sergio Romero has been fancied to make his first Premier League appearance of the season and the Argentine ought to feature between the sticks unless De Gea is 100 percent fit.

After the Saturday results, United have dropped to 14th in the Premier League standings and the fans will be anticipating a strong response against their fierce rivals regardless of the team on paper.
