LVG not bothered by critics

Manchester-United-in-SeattleLouis Van Gaal has dismissed criticism by former Barcelona player Hristo Stoichkov, saying he did was not bothered by the Bulgarian’s words.

Earlier this week, the former Barcelona and Parma star claimed that Van Gaal would “ruin” Pedro if the 27-year-old was to move to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.

Van Gaal, however, dismissed the criticism during when talking to the press on Thursday afternoon ahead of United’s trip to Villa Park.

“I always want to consider who is saying, I already know why. It doesn’t bother me,” he said.

“Stoichkov is one of the players I sent away so that’s why he is doing that.

“There are more players speaking highly about me than people saying things like Stoichkov.”
