Man Utd star offered 4-year contract, could join Inter

The future of Anthony Martial at Manchester United is still unclear. The French forward was in and out of the team under Jose Mourinho last season and only in recent weeks has he had a good run out.

There is no doubt that the 22-year-old has a bright future ahead of him in the game but whether that will be at Old Trafford in the long-term still remains to be seen.

Martial was strongly linked with a move to Juventus last summer but nothing materialised. It is now being reported that a move to Italy could still be on the cards, but this time with Internazionale.

FC Inter News are reporting that the Italian giants have offered our forward a four-year deal with promises of first-team football under current head coach Luciano Spalletti.

The report states that Martial’s agent is looking at the offer with interest and that talks will continue in the coming weeks. However, there is no agreement as of yet as far as they are aware.

Anthony Martial is in the final season of his contract at Manchester United but we do have a clause that will allow us to extend it for a further year. That needs to be activated before 1 January 2019 in order to prevent Inter or any other foreign clubs from being able to agree a bosman deal with the player, allowing him to leave on a free transfer at the end of the current campaign.

The French international has found his form of late since being a given a good run out in the first team by Jose; scoring six goals in his last five Premier League appearances. There is no doubting the player’s talent and potential – he is a natural finisher with good pace. Whether he is in Jose’s long-term plans and whether he plans to stay at Manchester United remains to be seen.
