Patrice Evra inflicts more pain on Manchester City after Champions League loss

Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra has again mocked Manchester City and their famous supporters – Liam and Noel Gallagher.

The Citizens lost the Champions League final 1-0 to Chelsea over the weekend.

Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game as City’s star-studded line-up failed to impress.

As a Red Devils’ supporter, Evra is delighted that his “noisy neighbours” have failed to achieve European glory.

In a video on his social media platform, he can be seen in his car wearing a wig that mirrors Gallagher’s Mod hairstyle.

He performs his own version of the iconic Oasis song Wonderwall.

“Liam – where are you?” says Evra.

“You remember when you were laughing at me when United lost? Now it’s your turn. Don’t be jealous.

“I just want to say this is a special Monday for you, Liam, and stop saying Manchester is blue. I’ve got more trophies than your entire club!”

“And sorry for the remix, it’s time: ‘I said maybe, you’re going to win it when I’m 90! And after all, you’re my noisy neighbour!”

He finished his video with his favourite chant, “I love this game!”

Evra previously enjoyed European success with United defeating Chelsea on penalties in 2008.

This is the second time in as many days the former French international has taken a dig against United’s cross-city rivals.

He shared a photoshopped image yesterday with Sir Bobby Charlton holding the Champions League trophy.

It has been a tough end to the season for United supporters where they saw their team losing to Villarreal in the Europa League final.

However, they will be rejoicing seeing one of their legendary players mocking City in this fashion.
