Transfer Rumours: Bardsley to Everton/Ibrahimovic

It’s been a quiet couple of days and papers seem to have gone quiet as far as our club is concerned. Only Quagliarella remains on the radar while most tabloids seem happy to feast on Arsenal with the La Liga finally over. Sometimes you have to feel for them, because the Spanish tabloids seem to have gone into overdrive while there seems to be no end to Henry’s whining and declaration of love towards Dein. Not even Tom Cruise went so overboard in his public displays of love for Katie, but then I digress.

Another interesting thing to note is the lack of activity at Anfield. One would have expected their promised ‘major swoop plan’ swing into action as soon as the La Liga got over. We are still waiting. Not that it’s going to stop them from going on about how this year is going to be their year.

Back to United… today, having very little to say, I have brought news from unreliable sources. They are rumours anyway, so read it for your pleasure.

The Sun claims that Phil Bardsley will make a move to Everton. Don’t ask me for the link. I haven’t found it yet but I saw that on the Manutd site. I always was under the impression that Martin O’Neill was keen on the player. So while an Everton move isn’t very surprising, give this sometime. You will see other mid-table clubs interested too. And of course, where there is a fringe player, there will be a Roy Keane, Sunderland and tomorrow’s gossip story.

While Goal.com, another site that has clearly fallen in standards in my opinion, claims that United are interested in Ibrahimovic. He may be a skillful player without doubt, but I have seen that his petulance often tends to get the better of him. He is a bag of tricks, but for a striker he can be as profligate in front of goal as Saha. So if the rumours are indeed true, I don’t think getting him is a good idea. He has also apparently demanded an insanely high wage contract. I think Inter should keep him.

Anyway, that’s about it from here. Hopefully there are better things to talk about tomorrow.

If you think we care about you opinion, then you are politely mistaken. Why dont you go back to your own club fan website (if you have one) and stop bothering the real fans?

P.S. Grow up, and Everton are a midtable club and always will be.

Of course Everton are a mid table club. When did they last ever win anything. And for what business is an Everton fan reading our Man U club blog? Let him go and start a blog for his club. This is a Red Devils’ zone and Blue Benny is not welcome. And if he needs to be welcomed then he must behave as a Red Devil, no two ways about this!!!!!

Everton, was and will always remain a midtable team, no doubt about that…TRUTH HURTS.
Anyway back to the striker hunt, IBRAHIMOVIC is one player that we dont need, he has the skills and tricks to be a better winger and not a striker, his finishing is suspect, but slightly better than that of SMITH, and G.N…
But I’d rather have SAHA anytime….

Blue Benny, why are you such a prick that you have nothing better to do in your pathetic life than to go on other fans websites and attempt to make yourself feel big with your shitty insults and childish comments while us people that actually have lives try to have constructive and intellectual discussions about football but have to waste our time with your stupid delinquency that makes as much sence as a drunk five-year-old thats on crack.

    P.S. ROONEY!!!

First Everton is a mid table club, no questions about that…I do remember that Everton got a chance to qualify for CL in 2005, but even than Everton failed to pass the 3rd round. And when was the last time you won anything. I still like you though, cause you hate Liverpool and enemy of my enemy is my friend :).
Secondly we don’t need Ibrahimovic. He is too slow and by the way the only reason that Inter became the champions is due to the lack of real competition. Milan was crippled and Juve was out.

I think United really missed out on a big opportunity in case of Torres. I think they could have put someone onto the bid and made a cash+ player deal….He is an outstanding talent and if he lands up in Liverpool or Chelsea is dangerous..He is agile, quick and have great nose for goals…Ideal for United and it would have been a treat to watch him line up with Ronaldo,Anderson,Rooney and even Nani…with Hargreaves and Carrick to cover up….Would have been the perfectly balanced side…As United as change their game to speedy passing game rather than the usual English crossing game Torres would get into the groove early too…If Liverpool gets him, get ready to watch him and Gerrard make merry!!!

Your sentiments are understandable, but don’t expect people to sit down quietly and take your comments lightly. It’s a fan blog for crying out loud. What else do you expect?!

As regards Everton, I said they are a mid table club and they have been so for quite some time in terms of points. (Yes they did finish above the other scum from Merseyside – if that makes you happy 🙂 – and qualified for the CL)

Note the difference between calling your club a mid-table club and a ‘small’ club. I called Everton a mid table club. End of story.

Let’s be honest. If you guys even qualify for the CL in a season, it would be termed a success, no?

Bardsley – I think for his own career he has t leave (where that is I’m not sure as yet) as he seems well down the pecking order at the moment – and with Simpson possibly rejoining the squad next season and Evans and Pique who could fill in at RB if required.

Ibrahimovic – NO. He has the talent but it is far too enigmatic and petulant for Man U. Can’t see SAF being a big fan of him either.

Torres – I do like him and think he could be a key addition for United, whether he’s done enough for us to spend 25 million on him I’m not sure. Would be a shame if he goes to Liverpool but I’m sure if the management etc. rate him then we’ll make a play for him still.

The transfer fees are blown to severe proportions by EPL clubs…mostly because of the takeovers at the major clubs in the past 4 years..Now the latest to join is ManCity…If Eriksson joins as manager, the owner owes to bring all high profile players to City…Lots of billionaires are set their eyes on English clubs due to the following it has in Asia and Europe…Sooner or later we can see all world class players playing in EPL transferred for huge amount of pounds and wages which are out of this world….Not good for world football…not good for English football also…

Therefore no way Torres is going to be available for under 20M..It depend on the player where he want to end up playing..

    right
    a) we sold rooney because hes a greedy bastard and if you think clearly what as he done since he left everton (fuck all) so sounds like good buisness everton wise
    b) i remeber the last thng we won ’95 (yes a while ago) was the fa final who against you asked (man u)
    c) and thirdly what he fuck do you mean by middle table i mean thats just pathetic and not even closely true
    d) and fourthly did you know who glazer got the money to buy man u (he loaned it from man u …yet another great buisness deal by man u) and there man u are 600million in debt (650 now) great keep it up man u , u have 3 years at max before you become the next leeds and it is impossible to predict that everton will ever become a greater club again
