As per The Guardian, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer embraced his new signing at the Mancunian club by saying, “we’ll wait for you.”
United secured a move for Amad Diallo Traoré, paying Atalanta €30m plus €10m in add-ons on the deadline day of the summer transfer window.
Solskjaer’s management reportedly sees him as one of the top three talented players born in the year 2002.
And hence, even though he racked up only 25 minutes of Serie A football to his name, Manchester United were aspired to spend big on the talented prodigy.
After Diallo signed for the Red Devils, Manchester United boss sent him a heart-warming message, saying:
“You are a talent for the future, we’ll wait for you.”
Diallo will join his new teammates at the red side of Manchester in the upcoming January after receiving a fresh work permit.
Manchester fans will be eager to see the 18-year-old playing his trades on the green turf of Old Trafford.
Manchester United have lost two of their three games in their Premier League campaign, making it one of the worst starts to a season since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
United will be looking to bounce back sooner than later and create a situation under which the youngsters could nurture their talents.
